Warsaw Trips
Discover Warsaw at your own pace

One day is enough to see Warsaw’s most famous landmarks. But if you have two, three or even more days, you can discover much more than the city’s highlights.
Warsaw is a city of contrasts. At the same time, historic palaces stand next to modern skyscrapers. Peaceful parks are only a short walk from lively streets full of cafés and restaurants. Every district has its own atmosphere and tells a different story.
Multi-day Warsaw trips let you discover the city at your own pace. You will have time to explore both the famous landmarks and the hidden gems of Warsaw.
Explore the city’s greatest landmarks
Start your visit with Warsaw’s most iconic attractions.
Walk through the beautifully reconstructed Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and continue along the elegant Royal Route. Discover the Royal Castle, Castle Square, Krakowskie Przedmieście and the charming New Town.
Visit the magnificent Royal Łazienki Park with the Palace on the Isle, the Chopin Monument, the Orangery and beautiful gardens. It is one of the most relaxing places in Warsaw and a favourite destination for both visitors and local residents.
If you enjoy panoramic views, we also recommend the Palace of Culture and Science, the Varso Tower or the rooftop garden of the University of Warsaw Library.
Discover Warsaw’s fascinating history
Warsaw’s history is dramatic, inspiring and unforgettable.

Warsaw is the perfect place to discover Poland’s history. Learn about Polish kings, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, the partitions of Poland and the Second World War. You will also see how the city rose from the ruins after 1945.
Many visitors are particularly interested in the history of the former Jewish Ghetto, the Ghetto Uprising of 1943 and the Warsaw Uprising of 1944. These events shaped both the city and its people.
Today Warsaw is often called the Phoenix from the Ashes. Nearly 85% of the city centre was destroyed during the Second World War, yet Warsaw was rebuilt with extraordinary determination and has become one of Europe’s fastest-growing capitals.
Experience the city beyond the main attractions
Moreover, if you stay a little longer, you will discover another side of Warsaw.
Visit the vibrant Praga District on the eastern bank of the Vistula River. Walk along Ząbkowska Street, explore the historic Różycki Market and admire colourful street art hidden among old tenement houses.
Praga is home to the largest Orthodox church in Warsaw, the Praga Museum of Warsaw, the Neon Museum and the Museum of Polish Vodka. It is one of the city’s most authentic and creative neighbourhoods.
You can also try traditional Warsaw cuisine in one of the local restaurants or cafés.
Relax in Warsaw’s green spaces
Warsaw is one of the greenest capitals in Europe.

Nature lovers can spend time in the Royal Łazienki Park, the Botanical Garden, the Saxon Garden or the beautiful gardens on the roof of the University of Warsaw Library.
For example, families often enjoy visiting the Warsaw Zoo, famous for the story of Jan and Antonina Żabiński, who rescued hundreds of Jewish people during the Second World War. Their remarkable story inspired the film The Zookeeper’s Wife.
If you visit Warsaw during the summer, you can also relax on the sandy beaches along the Vistula River or enjoy a walk along the modern riverside boulevards.
Discover museums, music and culture
Warsaw offers something for every interest.
Music lovers can visit the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, listen to free Chopin concerts in Royal Łazienki Park during the summer or enjoy an evening piano recital at Chopin Point.
Art enthusiasts can explore the National Museum, the Museum of Modern Art or one of the city’s many temporary exhibitions.
If you are interested in science, don’t miss the Copernicus Science Centre, one of the most popular interactive museums in Poland.
