Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw

Palace of Culture and Science – Viewing terrace

We recommend You visit the panoramic view terrace in the XXX floor of Palace.

In nice weather, you can see the whole of Warsaw.

The Palace was built in the 1950s as a gift from Stalin. The palace was a gift of the Russian nation for the Polish nation.

The building was supposed to serve the Poles, which is why today we can find theaters, a cinema, a university, halls of the city council, a youth palace – where activities for children and youth are organized. Inside there are exhibition halls, where trade fairs are often organized.

The palace was built for three years. It was to be national in form, socialist in content. We can find many elements referring to Polish culture, although the main shape resembles the Moscow palaces.
When the palace was put into use, Varsovians laughed, that the observation deck is the most beautiful place in Warsaw because it is the only place where you can not see the Palace.

Palace of Culture and Science can be visited. The office, which organizes guided tours of the interior is located in the Palace.

We offer common sightseeing the observation deck, during which our guides will show the most important Warsaw buildings and they will tell interesting stories connected with them.

Observation deck on the XXXth floor is open daily from: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
